‘Himself Took’

HimselfOne of the scriptures that furthermore explain the fight of faith is: ‘He took our illnesses, and carried our disease’. #MATT8:17 #ISA53:4 (MSG version)

What did he take? Our diseases, infirmities, sicknesses, ailments, infections, illnesses, pain, afflictions, viruses etc

He took’ is past tense.

He is not going to take because he already took.

If he took it, you don’t have it.

If you have it, you think you have it.

If you think you have it, it doesn’t mean you have it because you just think you have it.

He took! He took our diseases. The chastisement of our peace was laid on him and by his stripes, we were healed. Our healing is settled forever in the realm of the spirit.

I have told the story of Kenneth Copeland who had back pain for many years. He was teaching and preaching the gospel but he had a chronic back pain for about fifteen years. He said there were times he could not stand when the pain started. He kept on praying that God should take away the sickness. For fifteen good years, he didn’t get any result because he was praying in error. For example, if you are trying to enter into your facebook account and you enter the wrong password, it means you cannot gain access.

There are some of our passwords that are very complicated. There are times I so much complicate my password that I forget. Then I want to open my account but I cannot gain access.  There are times you are sure that what you are entering is the right thing; have you been there before? Not remembering that you modified it previously.

So for fifteen years, Kenneth Copeland was praying for God to take away the sickness.

Not until one day, he was getting ready to go out when the pain recommenced.

Then the Holy Spirit spoke and said to him, “you cannot ask me to take what I have taken. I have taken it! For you to say that I need to take it is to be in error”. Immediately the light (revelation) came, the sickness disappeared. For fifteen years, he was praying to God to take away something that He already took. It’s like asking God to repay for something He already has paid for.

If He took it, then you have been stripped of it. For you to say that He needs to take it is to be in error.
