When you go through the scriptures you will find things that go in sevens; one of such bothers on the person of God and the passion of God. God is not just a God of love; God is love. God is love suggests that He is good, kind, loving and passionate. The love nature of God shows us that when He doesn’t like something, He does not passionately but when He likes it He does so passionately. God is a God of Love, Mercy, Holiness, Justice, Laws and Principles. So God loves us and He loves us passionately and unconditionally. So to suggest that He loves also means that He can hate; when you like something, also means you can hate. God loves everybody, sinners inclusive but He cannot stand sin.
Our relationship with our biological father is similar to what we have with Christ; he loves the child but might not like the attitude or action. So you must learn to separate the person from the issue; there are issues people indulge in that will make people that love you not to like you again.
God is a God of justice and equal opportunities; so there are seven critical things God does not like:
What God does not like are pointers to what He likes. He wants our eyes to be filled with humility and mercy, wants us to always say the truth at all times, He wants our hands to be an extension of His; protecting and defending the helpless, He wants our thoughts to be glorious all the time, He wants our feet to propagate the gospel instead of running towards evil, He wants our mouth to speak the truth no matter the cost, He wants us to be peace makers among men, He wants us to be trouble shooters and not talebearers.
